A sound bath is an immersive, deeply relaxing experience where you’re invited to simply be.

Rather than listening to music in the traditional sense, you’ll rest comfortably while surrounded by layers of sound and vibration created with singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, and other therapeutic instruments.

The sounds and vibrations offer your mind something gentle to focus on while giving your body an opportunity to slow down and settle. Many people describe the experience as feeling meditative, grounding, spacious, or deeply restorative.

There is nothing you need to do during a sound bath. You don’t need to meditate perfectly, clear your mind, or have any previous experience. Simply get comfortable, breathe, and allow the sounds to move through the space around you.

Sound, Brain States & the Waters Within

Our bodies are deeply responsive to rhythm, vibration, and sound.

Different sounds and frequencies can influence the way we breathe, the rhythm of our heart, our attention, and the activity of our nervous system. As we move from an alert, active state toward slower rhythms of relaxation, the brain can shift into different patterns of activity—creating space for rest, stillness, and inward awareness.

And then there is the water within us.

The human body is made largely of water, and sound is vibration moving through matter. We can feel vibration through our skin, bones, muscles, and tissues—think of the resonance of a gong, the hum of a singing bowl, or the deep vibration of a low tone moving through the body.

While sound does not simply “retune” the water in our bodies, our bodies can feel and respond to vibration.

This is part of what makes sound healing such a unique experience. The combination of rhythm, vibration, breath, stillness, and intention can invite the nervous system toward a different state—perhaps softer, slower, quieter, or more present.

Sound meets us where we are.
Vibration moves through us.
And sometimes, the body simply remembers how to soften.
